Hey Team Caregivers!
“Chaordic” is a word I learned at my training that came to mind this morning. It is a concept joining together the words “chaos” and “order”. Life can be chaordic at times. The crazier our world becomes, the more chaordic it seems.
Sometimes there can be a healthy tension between dynamics in our lives that bring a balance to life. It’s kind of like the Proverb “Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches—Feed me with the food allotted to me; Lest I be full and deny You, And say, “Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God (Proverbs 30:8-9).”
And, some people and businesses intentionally create chaos because they see it as best for production, or believe they function better under stress and wild circumstances. I guess it is possible😊
But, chaos is usually unhealthy for us. God is a God of order, if you look at creation, your own body or the world around you. Our human choices, actions, and habits have brought all of the chaos in the world into the world. Life gets scrambled and out of control, but God can bring order from the chaos, and sow love, joy, and peace into our hearts, homes, and work places. You don’t have to live in a personal or familial state of chaos, and life does not have to be chaordic all of the time. Blessings!
