Cleaning House During the Pandemic

Hey Team Care-Givers (T.C.G.) Family and Friends!
What is the most gross thing you have pulled out of a refrigerator?
Wendy Anderson in our office discovered some items and containers that very well could have been in the
fridge since the restrictions began weeks ago. I only saw and smelled them from six feet
away(practicing social distancing can come in handy😊).
Sometimes we discover that little container hidden in the back of the refrigerator that
began growing some black spots or green fuzz. Sometimes the milk goes past the due
date and is sour and rotten. The worst for me was dealing with someone’s fridge who had
abandon the house with no electricity to keep things cold. I think that the spoiled meat
won the prize for the most gross.
One of my favorite booklets is entitled “My Heart Christ’s Home”. It is like Jesus going
through the rooms of your heart and helping you “clean house” of the things that dishonor
Him. The task goes pretty smoothly, until you get to the closet. The closet where you have
stored those stinky unclean things in your life that you don’t want anyone to know about or see.
It’s the place where you have reserved for un-forgiveness and other selfish things that cause
relational mold and spiritual and relational impurity to bring rot into your soul.
Jesus is a heart cleanser and closet cleaner for your soul. He already knows what’s inside.
He just wants you to open your heart to Him and allow Him to clean out and dispose of anything
unclean.
In Him,
Wade
