Don’t Grow Weary
Chaplain Wade Graber

Hey Team CareGivers (TCG Family and Friends)!
My 91 year old father-in-law and my younger brother-in-law are walking their way
through the woes of the COVID-19 virus. Continued prayers are much appreciated.
One of the consistent reports that we hear from those who have dealt with the more
harsh effects of the virus is the ongoing fatigue factor. No matter their age, the virus
seems to steal energy and endurance.
In the context of reaping what we sow in life, we are encouraged by these words:
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap
if we do not lose heart.” (Gal. 6:9) Don’t let the fatigue factor affect you while doing
good for others, even if it doesn’t appear that they appreciate your good works. You
have to plant before you can have a harvest. You never stop planting because of an
immediate crop failure. Keep sowing goodness and reap the benefits, even if the
harvest or reaping seems to be delayed.
Don’t grow weary of doing good.
In Him,
Wade
