Laughter and Exercise

Hey Team CareGivers (TCG Family and Friends)!
They say that laughter and exercise are two things that can help free us from
the extra tensions and anxieties of the dynamics in our world today. I told Peggy
that I think I will choose laughter😊.
I know it’s not a matter of choosing one or the other, but if I had to choose, I
would pick laughter. As a matter of fact, I could misquote Scripture and make a
case for laughter being the better choice. (I’m trying to be funny at this point).
On the one hand, Proverbs 15:13 says, “A merry heart makes a cheerful face..”
And, on the other hand, I Timothy 4:8 begins by saying, “for bodily exercise profits
a little…” If I’m going to pick the most beneficial of the two, I choose laughter😊.
Actually, laughter and physical exercise are beneficial to us spirit, soul, and body.
And, by the way, all of I Timothy reads, “For bodily exercise profits a little, but
godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of
that which is to come.” It is not saying that physical exercise is bad or of little or
no value, but it is saying that “spiritual exercise” or godliness is not only good for
your right now, but also for your future life and eternity.
Stay healthy with exercise and laughter. Especially laughter😊.
In Him,
Wade
