Oneness

Hey Team Caregivers (TCG Family and Friends)!
How fun to see all of those full chairs and the whole team (almost) back together again. I’ve always loved it when the whole family, or whole church family, or whole team can be together. Oneness and unity always feel so good, whether in your home or in your group in the world.
One time I shared how much I enjoy oneness as I shared with a church family, “I’m like a mother hen. I like all of my chicks together.” Following the service, a little 90 year old lady came up to me, smiled, and said, “I’m one of your chicks.”
Oneness and unity are more than being in the same building, or the same room, or on the same team. It is aiming for the same goal. It is fulfilling the same purpose. It is embracing the same vision. It is shouldering each other’s trials and celebrating each other’s triumphs. It is sharing life together.
Here is one list of some ways to promote oneness and share life with each other.
9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[a] Do not be conceited. 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. (Rom. 12:9-18). Basically, this is love in action! Blessings!
In Him,
Wade
