P.U.S.H.

Hey Team CareGivers (TCG Family and Friends)!
I was reminded how much we use abbreviations at work and in the world, when I grabbed a
bookmark with “P.U.S.H.” on it. Our company, TCG, was founded as The Consociate Group. In house
abbreviations include: NTE (Not to exceed), POC (Point of contact), COI (Certificate of insurance), and
numerous other customized abbreviations like every business or group.
For years there was a popular fad using the abbreviation “WWJD”. It stood for “What Would Jesus Do”?
It was supposed to be a reminder to determine how Jesus would handle the situation at hand, and do that
in the moment. What would Jesus say or do if He was here right now going through this experience?
So, what does the abbreviation P.U.S.H. stand for? We could be creative and make up some customized
words, but it originally stood for “Pray Until Something Happens”. “Pray without ceasing” is one of the
shortest verses in the Bible (I Thess. 5:17). We could understand this as to pray all of the time without
stopping; (always be praying or have an attitude of prayer at all times), and/or to not give up on prayer—
keep praying and don’t quit this vital communication with God.
Be encouraged to push on in prayer—Pray Until Something Happens!
In Him,
Wade
