Take Care of the Caregiver

Hey Team CareGivers (TCG Family and Friends)!

One piece of advice that I have given to caregivers throughout the years is this:  Be sure and take care of the caregiver.

In other words, take care of yourself as you take care of your loved one.  Somewhere in the biblical mandate to “Love your

neighbor as yourself”, you need to unselfishly love and care for yourself, so you are in the best condition to love and care for

others.

This morning I’m wondering about you.  How can I care for you and show love to you?  This wild and wacky world has caused

everyone some kind of anxiety or hurt at various levels of intensity.  Maybe you are mildly shaken by all of the chaos in the world,

or maybe you are “shakin’ in your boots”.  Whether you are somewhat unsettled, or extremely fearful, I would like to be able to

encourage you today.

As I offer my availability to share your struggles in life, remember that God is available 24/7.  You can cry out to Him at any

moment of any day.  He is omnipresent–always present everywhere.  He will never abandon you.  He goes through the trials of

life with you.  His empathy is perfect as He experienced more temptations and suffering than any other person, while He was on

the earth.  He is the ultimate Caregiver!

In Him,

Wade

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you (I Peter 5:7).”
