Teaching by Modeling
Chaplain Wade Graber

Hey Team CareGivers (TCG Family and Friends)!
Back from my week long trip to Nigeria and celebrating a good time of training, fellowship, hope, and vision for the future!
Our principle for training is based on II Timothy 2:2 “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” It is not unlike what we do here at TCG, as others teach others, who teach others to care for the needs of others.
In the pic below, I’m pictured with my supervisor, two country coordinators, and 5 trainers who have completed the Term 1 training.
The possibilities from just this week of training would be the planting of 75 churches in this area of Nigeria. Church multiplication that we use as a model would mean that next year 150 churches would be planted. It takes everyone doing their part and continuing the process of teaching others to teach others for that kind of success.
There are some things that we cannot teach them, but we can model for them—character, love, kindness, generosity, honesty…..
Starting this February of Love Month, I hope that you embrace the “Love and Kindness Week” that Chris has shared with us. And, I hope that the emphasis continues and grows in the weeks and times of our future together.
Thank you for how you have already touched my life in our time of serving here at TCG Services. Thank you for daily touching the lives of people and businesses across the nation every day by helping them take care of a need. Blessings!
In Him,
Wade
