Welcome July, and Better Days

Now that we have this new website up and roaring, I plan on adding weekly-ish Posts on a variety of topics: what’s new at TCG, Industry-related news, or just something cool I stumble upon.

With that, this Post is somewhat of a “test” to see if I actually know what I am doing on this thing, and what the end result will ultimately look like.  We all have certainly been “tested” over these past 3+ months now.  My hope, like many of you, is that as we turn the calendar page to July tomorrow, that we also turn the page on all of the uncertainty and unrest we’ve seen recently in our country.

We here at TCG have been beyond blessed.  Blessed to keep everyone fully employed throughout all of this, while maintaining our connections with our customers and our communities.  The Midwest is sometimes revered as “flyover country”.  I’ve never taken offense to that sentiment, and, even more now, see that as a redeeming quality.  What we lack in population is what has spared us from being ravaged by this pandemic.  Additionally, what we value, in supporting our communities, and each other, is what will get us through these difficult days.

Here’s to turning the page, and better days ahead.

Be well,

Chris Barbour

Chris currently serves as TCG's Director of Sales. In an organization like ours, that doesn't mean non-stop selling (although, we are growing). In this role, it's all about connecting with our customers (both new and old), providing the highest level of service, and being an escalation point when jobs go sideways (let's face it, this is facilities). Prior to joining TCG, Chris worked in FM Business Development and Operations for 11 years in the Commercial Real Estate industry, serving hundreds of national customers, identifying hundreds of millions of dollars in savings, and building FM Operations Teams from the ground up.
