Who is TCG?

A few weeks ago, I tackled the question of what TCG stood for, since I get the question quite a bit.  Here, as we sit at the end of August, in what has been the oddest summer in maybe ever, I was thinking about “Who” is TCG?

Is TCG the building that sits at 145 North Main in El Dorado, Kansas?

Is TCG our 30 or so employees?

Is TCG a national facilities repair and maintenance services company?

The answer is Yes.  TCG is all of those things, and then some.  We are not one without the other, and vice versa.  This pandemic has made us look at our business entirely differently, and operate in ways we never have in our history.  Some of these changes we will embrace, and make ourselves better for our customers and TCG going forward.  However, we will not change everything, forgetting “who” TCG truly is. We need this amazing group of people to be who we are as an organization.  We need a safe and uplifting environment to work together, collaborate, and deliver our very best everyday.

We definitely made it work during the most difficult times of this situation, but are slowly getting back to “who” we are at TCG at our roots.  We pray that everyone who has been affected by this pandemic also gets back to “who” they were beforehand.  Albeit, like us, even better versions!

Be well,

Chris Barbour

Chris currently serves as TCG's Director of Sales. In an organization like ours, that doesn't mean non-stop selling (although, we are growing). In this role, it's all about connecting with our customers (both new and old), providing the highest level of service, and being an escalation point when jobs go sideways (let's face it, this is facilities). Prior to joining TCG, Chris worked in FM Business Development and Operations for 11 years in the Commercial Real Estate industry, serving hundreds of national customers, identifying hundreds of millions of dollars in savings, and building FM Operations Teams from the ground up.
